Jane Oakshott MBE

Jane Oakshott MBE is a distinguished UK-based voice and performance coach based in Leeds, with a background as a theatre historian and director and formal training in voice (BA, MA, LAMDA Gold). Since qualifying in 1996, she’s worked for over two decades with the Broadcast Journalism Department at Leeds Trinity University and was awarded an MBE in 2008 for her work empowering community groups through confidence and spoken performance. As President of the British Voice Association, she delivers fast-paced, engaging, and practical one-to-one coaching and group workshops to clients—ranging from business professionals and lecturers to actors, networkers, and even nervous brides—helping them overcome nerves, improve clarity, and perform authentically with confidence
